Kenneth and Barbara Martin, along with their daughters Barbie (14), Virginia (13), and Susan (11), left their Portland home in a 1954 Ford station wagon to gather Christmas greenery in the Columbia River Gorge. The missing Oregon family were last seen at a snack bar in Hood River at dusk.
